Did you know? TLASA is run completely by volunteers! Today, on International Volunteers Day, we honour our Steering Committee members for giving of their time, expertise and passion to toy libraries. We appreciate you and the hard work you do to bring toy libraries within reach of every community in SA.
For the last 4 years, since TLASA became an independent NPO in 2019, all TLASA activities, programmes and projects have been on a voluntary basis. TLASA’s members are various organisations, individuals and entities working in the Play and Toy Library sector. Some of these members represent the sector on the TLASA Steering Committee (Our Board). These individuals are responsible for the organisational management of TLASA as well as planning and implementing our activities, all while still holding full-time jobs and other positions.
