Toy Library Association South Africa

TLASA offers training, seminars and workshops throughout the year. Courses take place online and at various training offices in all the provinces. Training can also be organised at your worksite – please request a quote from info@tlasa.org.

Training is mostly skills-based, focusing on toys and giving participants hands-on knowledge. Certificates of attendance will be issued. Training courses are linked to the NCF and CAPS.

Online learning

In October 2022, TLASA hosted the 3rd annual National Toy Library Conference. To enable delegates from around the country to attend, it was hosted online again. The theme for this year’s conference was Sustainable play and presentations focused on how toy libraries can become more sustainable in providing play opportunities to all.
