Toy Library Association South Africa

Who are we?

The Toy Library Association South Africa (TLASA) promotes best practice in the fields of toy libraries, play and toys in South Africa. We are a registered non-profit organisation (NPO 237-525). This association has been in existence and working under various names since the 1990’s. Read more about our history here.

TLASA hosts quarterly seminars and regular workshops that aid toy librarians in setting up and maintaining quality toy library programmes.

TLASA is administered by a Steering Committee that manages all the functions of the organisation. Our current committee consists of six members, all working in the fields of play and toy libraries.
